About Me

Thanks for visiting my site! I am a freelance journalist with a passion for health, wellness, culture, and travel. My words can be found in the New York Times, Washington Post, Self, The Atlantic, and Marie Claire. Please visit my bylines page for a complete list.

This year, I’ve written about the physiological effects of racism, the Covid-19 vaccine, and how to travel with kids post-Covid.

I lead workshops on self-care for working women and racial sensitivity for corporations and schools. As a panelist, I frequently participate in discussions on mental health, activism, and workplace wellness.

When I’m not writing or leading workshops, I’m training for a marathon or hiking with my dogs. Interested in working with me? Send me an email! hello@tonya-russell.com
